Outpatient Clinic for

Children, Adolescents and Families

Welcome!

We provide high-quality mental health care for a wide range of issues, including anxiety, anger/irritability, emotional problems such as depression, traumatic experiences, bullying/mobbing, eating disorders, chronic pain, compulsions, tics and ADHD. We work with children, adolescents and young adults (up to age 21) and their families in the Freiburg area.

Our clinic treats individuals primarily utilizing a time‐limited, goal‐oriented and collaborative problem-solving approach called cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). Patients are matched with a licensed child and adolescent psychotherapist or a psychological psychotherapist with additional qualifications in child and adolescent psychotherapy. Qualified student clinicians support our therapists during diagnostic interviews, tests and specific treatment modules. Before involving closely supervised student clinicians, the treatment team carefully evaluates whether this approach is appropriate.

Statutory and private health insurance cover the costs of our services.

We look forward to meeting you!
